Miami / Europe, 21 April: SeaDream Yacht Club has announced its Summer 2028 Mediterranean season, unveiling 24 new voyages between May and October aboard the ultra-luxury yacht SeaDream II, in response to growing demand for boutique cruising experiences in the region.
The cruise line confirmed that the vessel will be repositioned from Northern Europe to the Mediterranean, offering an extensive season spanning 12 countries and over 70 ports of call, reinforcing its focus on immersive, small-ship luxury travel.
Strong Demand Drives Mediterranean Expansion
SeaDream Yacht Club said the expanded programme reflects increasing traveller demand for personalised, yacht-style cruising with longer port stays and access to exclusive destinations.
Andreas Brynestad highlighted the shift in traveller preferences:

Expanded Itineraries Across Iconic Destinations
The Summer 2028 season will feature an enhanced focus on some of the Mediterranean’s most sought-after destinations, including the iconic Amalfi Coast, which continues to attract high-end travellers.
SeaDream II will transit the Corinth Canal seven times during the season, offering guests a unique sailing experience through one of Europe’s most historic waterways.
The cruise line is also introducing 10-night and 11-night voyages that combine Greece, Sicily, and the Amalfi Coast into a single itinerary. These longer journeys can be booked back-to-back, allowing guests to extend their Mediterranean exploration.
Focus on Croatia and Adriatic Routes
Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast will feature prominently in the 2028 programme, with destinations such as Dubrovnik, Hvar, Korčula, Rovinj, and Zadar included across multiple itineraries.
Popular routes such as Venice–Dubrovnik and Dubrovnik–Athens will also return, offering travellers a mix of cultural heritage, coastal beauty, and historic landmarks.
Unique Experiences and Overnight Stays
The new season places a strong emphasis on immersive travel experiences, with multiple overnight stays in destinations including Kotor, Hvar, Mykonos, Capri, Amalfi, and Sorrento.
Guests will also enjoy a night cruise past Stromboli Volcano, along with curated excursions to historic sites such as Delphi and Delos, adding cultural depth to the itineraries.
