Vietnam Airlines Hosts India Sales Kick-Off 2026 in New Delhi, Strengthens Trade Partnerships

Bengaluru: Vietnam Airlines, in partnership with its India GSA Aeroprime Group, successfully hosted the Vietnam Airlines India Sales Kick-Off 2026 in New Delhi on March 27, bringing together key stakeholders from the travel trade, aviation sector, and media.

The event served as a strategic platform to strengthen collaboration within the Indian travel ecosystem while highlighting Vietnam Airlines’ growing network and commitment to expanding its presence in India. It also emphasized the role of aviation in enhancing bilateral tourism and trade between India and Vietnam.

The occasion was attended by senior representatives from the Embassy of Vietnam in India, including Trần Thanh Tùng, Deputy Chief of Mission, and Bui Trung Thuong, Trade Counsellor and Head of Trade Office. Their participation highlighted the growing strategic importance of India–Vietnam relations, particularly in tourism and aviation.

The programme featured leadership addresses, networking sessions, and destination presentations by Vietnam Airlines and its partners, including EnViet DMC, Avisari Holidays, Yutrp, and KAO Tours. These sessions provided valuable insights into Vietnam’s diverse tourism offerings and opportunities for Indian travellers.

A key highlight of the event was the signing of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) between Vietnam Airlines and leading travel platforms, including Ixigo (La Travenues) and BelAir, aimed at strengthening commercial partnerships and expanding distribution networks in the Indian market.

Speaking at the event, Nguyen Trung Hieu, Country Manager India at Vietnam Airlines, said:
“India is one of our most important and fastest-growing markets, and today’s event is a reflection of that commitment. The energy and enthusiasm from our trade partners here gives us great confidence as we look to deepen our presence and build on the strong momentum between India and Vietnam.”
