Bhubaneshwar: ITC Hotels Limited (ITCHL) has announced a significant milestone with the 50th signing under its Welcomhotel brand, further strengthening its footprint across India’s fast-growing hospitality markets.
The latest additions include new Welcomhotel properties in Shirdi, Maharashtra and Bhubaneshwar, Odisha, in partnership with Sandy Resort Private Limited.
New Hotel Developments
- A 73-room hotel in Shirdi, a major spiritual tourism destination
- An 84-room hotel in Bhubaneshwar, a key cultural and business hub
With these additions, the Welcomhotel portfolio now stands at 51 hotels with over 5,500 keys, including 30 operational properties and 21 in the pipeline.
Expanding National Footprint
Over the past 12 months, Welcomhotel has expanded rapidly across 16 destinations, including:
- Ayodhya, Sarnath & Vrindavan (Uttar Pradesh)
- Bodh Gaya (Bihar)
- Jaipur & Salasar (Rajasthan)
- Rajkot (Gujarat)
- Mysuru (Karnataka)
- Nellore (Andhra Pradesh)
- Dehradun (Uttarakhand)
- Mohali (Punjab)
Upcoming destinations also include Gangtok, Bhopal, and Gwalior, reflecting the brand’s balanced growth across leisure, spiritual, and business markets.
