Gulf Air Suspends All Flights as Bahrain Airspace Remains Closed

Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain, has announced the continued temporary suspension of all inbound, outbound, and transit flights due to the ongoing closure of regional airspace.

The airline stated that flight operations will resume only after Civil Aviation Affairs Bahrain confirms that the country’s airspace has been safely reopened for normal air traffic.

Passengers have been advised to regularly check the latest flight updates through the airline’s official website or mobile application to stay informed about schedule changes and operational developments.

Meanwhile, Bahrain’s Civil Aviation Affairs confirmed that several aircraft have been repositioned from Bahrain International Airport to other airports as a precautionary step.

Authorities explained that the repositioning involves transferring empty aircraft to alternative locations in order to enhance operational readiness and maintain aviation safety during the current situation. The measure forms part of broader contingency plans designed to ensure the smooth continuity of air traffic operations once the airspace reopens.

Aviation officials reiterated that passenger safety and operational preparedness remain the highest priorities while the regional situation continues to be closely monitored.
