British Airways has announced a temporary reduction in its flight operations across the Middle East due to continuing uncertainty and unstable airspace conditions in the region.
The airline confirmed that flights to and from Amman, Bahrain, Doha, Dubai, and Tel Aviv have been cancelled until later this month. Additionally, services to and from Abu Dhabi will remain suspended until later this year as the airline closely monitors the evolving situation.
The airline stated that the decision was made to ensure the safety of passengers and crew, as aviation authorities continue to review airspace conditions across the Middle East. British Airways added that it is staying in contact with affected passengers and offering a range of options including flight changes and refunds.
Repatriation Flights from Oman
To assist passengers who may be stranded due to the disruption, British Airways is operating limited repatriation flights from Muscat to London Heathrow Airport on March 11 and 12 for customers with existing bookings.
The airline noted that a limited number of seats are still available on these services. After these dates, the flights will be temporarily paused due to reduced demand, although operations will remain under continuous review depending on the regional situation.
Passengers are advised to check the latest updates through the airline’s official website or contact customer service for assistance with rebooking or travel alternatives.
