Patna: In a move to enhance tourism accessibility and digital infrastructure, the Government of Bihar has launched a new online portal aimed at simplifying accommodation bookings for both domestic and international travellers.
The portal, developed by the Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation, was officially inaugurated by Tourism Minister Arun Shankar Prasad.
Accessible at www.bstdcmis.bihar.gov.in, the platform features a modern online booking system integrated with a management information system (MIS), enabling users to easily access real-time availability and make reservations across 38 BSTDC-operated hotels located at key tourist destinations in Bihar.
Boosting Tourism Infrastructure
The initiative is expected to significantly improve the overall visitor experience by:
- Streamlining hotel bookings
- Providing centralized access to accommodation information
- Enhancing transparency and operational efficiency
The platform is designed to cater to the growing number of tourists visiting Bihar’s prominent destinations, including cultural and heritage sites such as Bodh Gaya and Nalanda.
