Mumbai, April 21: Air India has signed a 10-year agreement with Thales to provide comprehensive maintenance services for inflight entertainment (IFE) systems across 57 Airbus and Boeing aircraft, marking a significant step in the airline’s technology and passenger experience upgrade strategy. The agreement, signed under Thales’ FlytCARE programme, will deliver end-to-end support including line maintenance, spare parts provisioning, repairs, and logistics management for the airline’s advanced AVANT Up IFE systems. Advanced IFE Systems Across Widebody Fleet The AVANT Up inflight entertainment systems will be deployed across Air India’s widebody fleet as part of its ongoing fleet modernisation programme.
