The Karnataka Tourism Department has advised foreign tourists currently in the state to reach out for support if they are experiencing visa-related problems or travel disruptions due to the ongoing tensions in West Asia.
In an official statement, the department noted that the situation in the region has created uncertainty for international travellers, affecting flight schedules and travel plans. Foreign visitors staying in Karnataka who are facing difficulties with visas or onward travel arrangements are encouraged to contact the department for assistance.
H. K. Patil, Minister for Tourism, said that the department is fully prepared to assist international guests during this challenging period. He assured that officials are ready to help address visa-related concerns and provide necessary guidance to ensure the safety and comfort of travellers in the state.
To support affected visitors, the department has activated a dedicated helpline number – 89706 50021, which will operate daily from 5:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Authorities emphasised that the initiative aims to ensure that foreign tourists in Karnataka receive timely support and reliable information while travel disruptions continue in parts of the Middle East.
