Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, has announced the signing of a new luxury hotel in Lucknow under its premium Claridges Collection portfolio. The upcoming property will be developed as a brownfield project, further strengthening IHCL’s presence in one of North India’s rapidly expanding hospitality markets.
According to Suma Venkatesh, Lucknow’s growing commercial activity, improving infrastructure, and strong cultural appeal are driving demand for new hospitality investments.
She noted that Lucknow has emerged as a promising destination for both business and leisure travellers, and the addition of the Claridges Collection property will further expand IHCL’s brand presence in the city. The company is also continuing its partnership with MD Projects Private Limited for this development.
