Bengaluru, India: Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway has announced the appointment of Shivangi Gupta as its new Director of Sales & Marketing, further strengthening its commercial leadership team.
With over 14 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Shivangi brings extensive expertise in revenue growth, strategic sales leadership, and market positioning across leading luxury hospitality brands. Her appointment comes at a time when the hotel aims to enhance its market presence and drive sustained business growth in Bengaluru’s competitive hospitality landscape.
In her new role, Shivangi will be responsible for overseeing the hotel’s overall sales and marketing strategy. Her key focus areas will include increasing market share, driving revenue across core segments such as corporate, MICE, and leisure, and reinforcing the hotel’s brand positioning. She will also lead high-performing teams, optimize distribution channels, and implement data-driven strategies to achieve key performance indicators including RevPAR and ADR.
Shivangi’s career spans notable roles with leading hospitality brands such as Accor and Indian Hotels Company Limited (Taj Hotels). She has also held key positions at Vivanta Bengaluru Residency Road and most recently served as Director of Sales & Marketing at Taj Yeshwantpur, where she successfully led the property’s commercial strategy.
She began her hospitality journey with Accor as part of the management trainee programme at Novotel & ibis Bengaluru Tech Park, laying a strong foundation for her career in hotel sales and marketing.
An alumnus of the Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition Goa, Shivangi holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Hotel Administration.
