Qatar Airways Announces Limited Flight Operations from Doha Amid Airspace Restrictions

Qatar Airways has announced a limited flight schedule to and from Doha as operations remain temporarily affected due to the closure of Qatari airspace. The airline confirmed that full operations will resume only after the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority officially declares the complete reopening of the country’s airspace.

Following temporary authorization from aviation authorities, the airline has introduced a restricted set of operating corridors to assist passengers affected by the disruption. The limited flights aim to support travellers who are stranded or need to reach their destinations urgently, while ensuring safe travel conditions.

Limited Departures from Doha

According to the airline, several international routes from Hamad International Airport will operate on selected dates.

March 10 departures include:
Cairo, London Heathrow, Jeddah, Manila, Kochi, Muscat, Istanbul, Mumbai, Delhi, Nairobi, Islamabad, Madrid, Frankfurt, Colombo, Milan, and Moscow.

March 11 departures include:
Cairo, Toronto, Dallas/Fort Worth, London Heathrow, Paris, Madrid, Rome, Delhi, Jeddah, Muscat, Hong Kong, Seoul, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, and Melbourne.

Flights Arriving into Doha

The airline has also scheduled a limited number of inbound flights.

March 10 arrivals include:
Seoul, Moscow, London Heathrow, Delhi, Madrid, Islamabad, Beijing, Perth, Nairobi, and Istanbul.

March 11 arrivals include:
Cairo, London Heathrow, Jeddah, Manila, Kochi, Muscat, Istanbul, Mumbai, Delhi, Nairobi, Islamabad, Madrid, Frankfurt, Colombo, Milan, and Moscow.

March 12 arrivals include:
Cairo, Toronto, Dallas/Fort Worth, London Heathrow, Paris, Madrid, Rome, Delhi, Jeddah, Muscat, Hong Kong, Seoul, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, and Melbourne.

Passenger Advisory

Qatar Airways has urged passengers not to travel to the airport unless they hold a confirmed ticket. The airline emphasized that these flights are being operated only to assist travellers affected by the disruption and do not indicate the full resumption of commercial flight operations.

Passengers are encouraged to check the latest updates through the airline’s official website, mobile app, or contact their travel agents for updated schedules and booking support.

Flexible Travel Options

To support affected travellers, Qatar Airways has introduced flexible travel policies for passengers with confirmed bookings between 28 February and 22 March 2026. Eligible passengers can opt for:

  • Two complimentary date changes within 14 days of their original travel date, or
  • A full refund of the unused ticket value.

The airline stated that the safety and wellbeing of passengers and crew remain the highest priority while the situation continues to evolve. Qatar Airways also thanked travellers for their patience and understanding during the ongoing disruption.
